In this conversation, the speakers will briefly describe the Public Humanities program at Brown and then talk about two arts organizations in Providence: CityArts (http://providencecityarts.org/) and New Urban Arts (http://newurbanarts.org/) both of which provide after-school arts classes for students (from elementary to high school) as well as serve as forms of public art.
