The MA Programme in Cultural Management and the Centre of Cultural Studies, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, are delighted to announce that, as an effort to encourage and support the remarkable growth of community arts, we have launched a “Community Arts Yellow Page” website www.cuhk.edu.hk/crs/communityarts2017.
Responding to social and critical issues such as social injustice and the drastic urban development, community arts experiences a rapid growth in Hong Kong in recent years. The website serves as a platform for sharing of information, ideas and knowledge, and to encourage research and discussion in the development of community arts in Asia. At this stage, the website provides case studies of distinctive local and overseas community arts projects with yearly keywords of land and ecology, and a list of community arts projects in Hong Kong from January 2014 to February 2017. Currently the website is in Chinese only. We hope that you will find the website useful and meaningful.
As the website is still in its beginning stage, your participation and comments are very important to us. Please let us know your views, ideas and what else we can do to make it better. Community arts is always about partnership; your view would be meaningful to us. Do write to us and let us know what you think via email cuccs@cuhk.edu.hk.
