Prof. Benny Lim on Umbrella Festival and Prof. Peichi Chung on Hong Kong Cinema at NCTU in Taiwan

Prof. Benny Lim and Prof. Peichi Chung will serve as speakers of Workshop on “Conflict, Justice and Decolonization II: Paradigm Shift of the Colonial-Imperial Order and the Aporia of Human Sciences” from 2 to 3 June 2017. Prof. Benny Lim will present a paper entitled “The Representations of Metanarratives in Postcolonial Hong Kong – a Case Study of Umbrella Festival” and Prof. Peichi Chung will present a paper entitled “Hong Kong Cinema and Its Reconnection with South-East Asian Heritage” in a panel on “Social Conflict, Aesthetic Mediation and the (un)Decolonized Bodies in East Asia I” on 2 June 2017.
