Art and Technology is the study of artistic practices engaging with technologies, and spans 3D printing, VR/AR, motion capture, games, video and animation, robotics, interactive art, software art, sound art, internet art, amongst others. The field crosses fine arts, media studies, and cultural studies, and explores how technology presents unique artistic and curatorial considerations, particularly in its modes of production, formats and contexts of reception and circulation both online and offline, and engagement with audiences.
